Andrew Gillum’s proposal to raise Florida’s corporate tax rate by more than 40% will in the end hurt working class Floridians the most. Florida’s corporate tax is 5.5%. Gillum proposes hiking it to 7.75%, a 2.25 percent increase that represents a 40% rate hike.

Andrew Gillum will TAX businesses out of Florida while increasing crime and poverty

Americans for Tax Reform has a breakdown showing how Florida would stack up to competing states in its region if Gillum were to have his way on fiscal policy. Simply put, Gillum’s proposal would make Florida the high tax capital of the South for businesses.

What Andrew Gillum is proposing is a total change of direction for Florida when it comes to fiscal policy. Not only would Gillum’s tax hike make Florida home to the highest corporate tax rate in the Southeast, it would mark a major break from the approach of Gov. Rick Scott (R), who has approved a tax cut every year that he has been in office.

Andrew Gillum is BAD For Florida! Vote for the candidate that is fully endorsed by Donald Trump, VOTE Ron DeSantis (R) Governor
